MANILA – At least nine (9) female inmates or persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) from the Pasay City jail have tested positive of the coronavirus after swab tests were conducted on them by BJMP personnel on Wednesday (July 8, 2020).

As a result, the BJMP implemented an intensified disinfection and sanitation operation of all cell wards to prevent the spread of the disease.
