MANILA – Office employees of the Office of the City Prosecutor in Manila staged a silent demonstration as they pressed for justice for slain Manila Chief Inquest Prosecutor Jovencio Senados by still unidentified gunmen.
Clad in black garments symbolic of their sentiments, the employees held lighted candles on hand and banners as they seek justice for the slain chief inquest prosecutor.

Senados was killed at the corner of Anakbayan St. and Quirino Avenue, Paco, Manila Tuesday (July 7) by still unidentified SUV-riding gunmen.
Prosecutors League of Manila President Bernardino Almeda said their group aleady sought the help of the Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and President Duterte to help prevent the “merciless killing” of prosecutors.
“The killing of Chief Senados is not only an assault [on] a hard-working, brilliant and dedicated public servant who devoted decades of his life to public service, but also an assault [on] the rule of law,” he said in a statement. (MTVN)
