MANILA – On its Case Bulletin #120, the Department of Health has on Monday, 13 July 2020, released a record number of more than two thousand new cases of the coronavirus from Sunday’s delayed report.
Aside from the new cases, single-day record highs on recoveries and fatalities were also set from Sunday’s report, which was delayed for the very first time since the outbreak of the disease unfolded in March.
As of 8 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020, the DOH registered a total of 2,124 number of COVID-19 cases that pushed the country’s overall count to 56,259 for July 12.
The new (2,124) positive cases were added based on the total tests done by 67 out of 82 current operational labs.
Likewise, the DOH reported a record number of 2,009 recoveries which brought the total number of survivors in the country to 16,046.
There were also a new record set in terms of fatalities that saw a high of 162 for the first since the outbreak began, shoving the country’s death toll to 1,534.
