MANILA — The number of locally stranded individuals (LSIs), who set up temporary shelters at the Quirino Grandstand here, has already reached 50 and counting.
To keep themselves protected from sun and rains, they put up their own makeshift shelters from tarpaulins and other available materials.

On Tuesday, 14 July 2020, the LSIs claimed they are now awaiting their transport schedules from authorities handling the government repatriation program Hatid Tulong that will help them go back to their respective province of origin.
