Now on their eighth straight day of concerted action, the demonstrators continue to protest Congress’ denial of the television network to get a fresh new 25-year franchise, displacing them too off their once lucrative jobs in the process.
Citing various violations on its franchise contract and other technicalities, lawmakers voted ABS-CBN out from getting a new franchise, 70-11.
