MTVN Staff — COMBINED OPERATIVES from the Bureau of Customs of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA) and the Department of Environement and Natural Resources of the National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) collared a high-profile smuggler-importer of exotic wildlife upon his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport .
The unidentified wildlife smuggler was caught red-handed with a total of 54 iguanas, two (2) basilisks, four (4) veiled chameleon, and three (3) bearded dragon.

Authorities said the illegally imported reptiles were surreptitiously concealed inside the suspect’s luggage from Bangkok, Thailand without necessary import permits.
