WITHOUT really trying, Sunshine Dizon was and still is, trending in almost all social media platforms, not because of the success of her teleserye “Ika-Anim Na Utos” rerun together with Gabby Concepcion and Ryza Cenon, but because of her recent posts in her Instagram account.
A Kapuso artist, Sunshine unabashedly stands with Kapamilya talents in their fight against the ABS CBN shutdown.
Sunshine has deleted the said post, however, many DDS supporters screenshot Sunshine’s statements on her IG account, reposted it and shared to many.
Sunshine’s post went like this:
Few minutes after posting, bashers flooded her account, some comments have become too personal to the extent of cursing her. Before Sunshine deleted her post, she managed to answer back her haters.
She has deleted them all.
VICKY MORALES THANKS GMA7 FOR THE TIMELY RETURN OF HER SHOW ‘WISH KO LANG’
LAST February, Vicky Morales was launched as Ate ng Bayan in her show “Ilaban Natin Yan!” on GMA 7.
Unfortunately, the said show only lasted for few months and the network decided to return her successful, award-winning public service show “Wish Ko Lang.”
Expectedly, the first few episodes became hit and the “Ate ng Bayan” is tagged again as the “Fairy Godmother ng Bayan.” Vicky is extremely grateful for the warm reception of the viewers and netizens who follow their weekly show.
“I am thankful to our network for believing it’s the kind of show we all need right now and thank you to all the followers who spend their Saturday afternoons watching our special episodes.
“They are the reasons why the show is back, and the reason why we are happy to do this even with all the challenges.”
One thing Vicky misses during tapings is not to be able to hug the beneficiaries of the program as she used to do in the past before the pandemic. She has to follow the safety protocols of the “new normal” like social distancing during shoots to avoid being contaminated by COVID-19. She could only keep her hands clasped to her breast as she gives her messages of comfort and congratulations.
Godspeed, Ms. Vicky Morales!
