Kylie Padilla shares her struggles as a mom

IN ONE of her Instagram posts, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla opens up about her experiences and struggles as a young mom.

“Being a young mom is not an easy thing… but it’s so strange,”  she begins.

“Motherhood has always been such a pivotal thing for me. I am naturally inclined to give more of myself to my family, BUT, also at the same time, I find a new kind of drive to pursue all of my other dreams. I would have never tried to pursue them if I still had my old mentality, before I had kids.”

The “Encantadia” actress admits that she reminds herself often that it is not selfish to take care of one’s self, and this should not make any mom like her to feel guilty at all.

“It is difficult to juggle and sometimes ‘mom guilt’ gets the best of me but, I respect the fact that I can’t give my family the best version of me if I can’t give myself the chance to grow in all my other talents and grow as a person. I’ll be forever grateful we shared our growth together.”

Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana’s “wedding plans”

shelved at the moment

Just recently, Tom Rodriguez gamely joined the “GusTOMoba” challenge when he guested on ‘Unang Hirit’.

One of its hosts Lyn Ching asked him several questions and what is considered to be the most important was, if he is already prepared to marry his long-time girlfriend Carla Abellana amid this COVID-19 pandemic.

The actor responded: “With me, it’s okay but when I asked Carla, without batting an eyelash, she definitely said “no.”

Tom immediately followed his statement that he understands why it was a  “no” for Carla.  He confessed that Carla wants their wedding day to be very special. So, there will be no wedding for the lovely couple this time, they will have to wait until this pandemic is over, and hopefully, soon.

“Ako, my only dream is to be the one next to her. That’s my only requirement. Siyempre, I want it to be special for her.”

Meanwhile,  Tom and  Carla are grateful their hit serye “My Husband’s Lover” is having a rerun which can be viewed on SNBO every Sunday.
