WATCH HER BODY language as Vice President Leni Robredo — who neither confirms nor denies having a presidential ambition — has opened a dormitory for health workers, medical practitioners and other front-liners in Metro Manila and Cebu City.
In her Facebook page, Robredo also disclosed that the Office of the Vice President had opened a fifth dormitory in Novaliches City near the Commonwealth Hospital, FEU Hospital-Marian Medical Arts Building, and Neopolitan General Hospital. The four others were built in Manila and Quezon City.
“Our dorms are open for health workers, medical practitioners, and other front-liners, such as security guards, and other volunteers for our programs related to the COVID-19 response. We sincerely thank our Angat Buhay partners who worked with us to make this possible,” Robredo said.
The Vice President further said that the dorm in Cebu City is located at Juana Osmeña Street. Hospitals nearby include: Chong Hua Hospital, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, Cebu Doctors Hospital, Cebu Velez General Hospital, Visayas Community Medical Center, Perpetual Succour Hospital, and St. Vincent General Hospital.
“This is part of #BayanihanSugbuanon, our office’s COVID-19 Response Operations in Cebu. We would like to thank our partners, Ms. Sylvia Hermosisima and Ms. Annie Chen, owner of 856G Gallery, for making this possible,” Robredo said.
She added that because of limited space and in line with physical distancing and other safety measures, requests will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. (MTVN)
