At the flag-raising ceremony on Monday, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna offered their silent prayers as the city mourned the untimely demise of former mayor Alfredo Lim.
The city also raised all Philippine flags in the city at half-mast especially at the Kartilya ng Katipunan as a fitting tribute to the notable local citizen of Manila.
Lim, who also served as senator in 2004, died of coronavirus last Saturday, 08 August 2020. He was 90.
