Owing to his notable accomplishments at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Atty. Palmer Mallari has been appointed as the new anti-fraud division chief of the bureau.

“It was a truly well-deserved promotion, learning of late that you were appointed as the new chief of the Anti-fraud Division (AFD) being one of the biggest and most active divisions of the NBI. Indulge me to congratulate you both on behalf of myself, Atty. Pearlito Campanilla and other friends,” Maharlika TV News Group Editor-in-Chief Edwin Cordevilla said.

Atty. Palmer Mallari was the former head agent and chief of the Automated Case Monitoring Office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) where he urged banks to train their employees on how to detect cyber-attacks.

He was instrumental on the prosecution recently of two (2) Bureau of Immigration Officers before the Department of Justice (DOJ) for falsifying travel records of Austrian national Jan Marsalek involved in the $2.2B Wirecard fraud in Germany.

As chief agent of the NBI-International Airport Investigation Division (NBI-IAID) Mallari also led his team on the arrest of American child trafficking suspect Jennifer Erin Talbot who was caught concealing a six-day-old baby boy inside her sling bag before departure at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in February this year.
