PAULINE Luna-Sotto, Pokwang and Ria Atayde bring pure good vibes and impart positive stories as they headline the newest morning show Chika, Besh! (Basta Everyday Super Happy) which started airing lastAugust 17 on TV5, Mondays thru Fridays at 10am.
The show is a good morning break amid our current challenging situations we face daily. Chika, Besh! gives everyone something to have a breath of fresh air as the hosts try to touch on real-life issues like love, health, motherhood and cater to the needs and issues concerning women of all ages and walks of life.
Though she honestly admits that this is her first time to be in a talk show, Pauleen Luna-Sotto has evolved from a teen star to a seasoned noontime show host, and now a mother to a precocious toddler. She has a lot to share about her real-life role that will certainly give viewers surprising ideas, especially her fellow young moms. Young as she is and self-confessed Popster, she dreams of interviewing Sarah Geronimo in the show but not her husband Bossing Vic Sotto.
Not only a successful comedienne, Pokwang is an author, and entrepreneur, and has also proven to be an amazing mother and all-around nurturer. It is expected that the show will bring laughter to its audience from this certified funny lady. With her wealth of experience and nuggets of wisdom, the audience is assured of a good laugh yet interspersed with meaty pieces of advice.
Ria Atayde may be the youngest in the trio of hosts, but she has the maturity beyond her years. The movie and TV actress will also serve as the voice of the millennial generation. A newbie host, she admits she is learning from Pokwang and Pauline and she shares that the key is to listen, be open because every day is a different thing. Instantly, she is happy to have new “ates.”
Adding colors to the show are DJ Malaya Macaraeg as field reporter for the in-show segment Tatak Pinoy featuring proudly Pinoy-made products, Christian Antolin will be the Ka-Chika for Laps Trips, a segment on delicious local and foreign food recipes and Inricho Bautista is the resident Tiktoker of the show who will feature viral videos and stories for the Share Ko Lang segment that would bring additional laughter to viewers.
