Celebrities mourn death of YouTuber Lloyd Cafe Cadena; bff Michelle Dy sheds tears

AN OUTPOURING of sympathies and messages of condolences from celebrities close to the vlogger Lloyd Café Cadena filled the net world when the YouTuber who had more than 8 million subscribers in his two YouTube channels passed away recently. He was 26.

Most of the celebrities were personally known to Lloyd while others were his followers who admired his talent as a happy vlogger.

one of the affected celebs was  eat bulaga host and phenomenal star Maine Mendoza. In her tweet, Maine said, “Nakakalungkot.(It’s so sad) Rest in peace, Lloyd Cadena.

“Masaya ako na na-meet kita in person at nasabi ko sayo na marami kang napapaligaya, isa na ako roon.

“I-decorate mo ang heaven ng bonggang-bongga at pasayahin mo pa ang mga angels doon.

“Gusto nila yooon! (I am happy to have met you in person and was able to tell you that you have made a lot of people happy, and I am one of those. Decorate heaven at make the angels happy there. They like it.)Rest easy, kween.”

 

There are Kapamilya stars who felt sad with the news that  Lloyd has passed on to another life.

According to Vice Ganda, Lloyd contacted him recently amid this quarantine period.  In his tweet,  Vice said, “Nakakalungkot na di ko naiabot sayo ‘yung simpleng hiling mo sakin dahil sa pandemya. Sana nakagawa ako ng paraan.(It’s so sad that I wasn’t able to give you your simple wish because of this pandemic. I could have made a way). Sorry, Lloyd.

Even Kim Chiu was shocked when she heard the news that Lloyd is gone too early.  Kim twitted: “Lloyd Cadena… is this true??? Grabe, bakit? I just watched his house vlof the other day. What happened? What a life! What is going on?”

Young star Barbie Imperial said that she grew up watching Lloyd’s vlogs.  Barbie also twitted about her sadness with the vlogger’s sudden demise. She said she has been watching all his videos since I was young.(with crying emojis). “Praying for him and his family.”

One of the most affected by the young vlogger’s death was his friend and also a vlogger Michelle Dy.

Michelle wasn’t able to control her tears because of her beloved friend’s untimely demise.

In her Instagram Stories, it can be watched how she cried unabashedly while listening to the music of Mariah Carey’s  “Butterfly” and “Thank God I Found You.”

Michelle also posted messages about Lloyd’s passing. “Lord why did you take away the only one I had?”

She added, “I love you so much Lloyd…and I thank the Lord that I was able to make you feel how much you mean to me….I dont regret anything because i know deep inside I expressed how much I appreciated you and I know you felt that…”

STRONG BOND

According to Michelle, they only have few friends because people misinterpreted their friendship. She also stated,  “We both had strong personalities that not a lot could handle…but for the two of us, we were our safe place.

“I was the only one that could handle him and he was the only one who could handle me…”

Michelle also added that it was only Lloyd whom she can run to when she has a personal problem or intrigue in the social media.

“Lloyed would be the first to text me, … as simple as ‘I love you,’ would be his first text and after that, he would save me. He will save the day.”

Michelle showed their exchanges of “I love you” with Lloyd.The cause of the vlogger’s death was not clear. The family only requested for  “prayers, respect, and privacy.”
