Devotees brave heavy rains in parading Black Nazarene

It rained cats and dogs Monday aside from thunderstorms in Quiapo, Manila but these never stopped devotees from joining a solemn procession of the image of the Black Nazarene along Evangelista street and back to Quiapo Church.

The devotees prayed for healing and for them to be spared from the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
The CBCP has also asked for prayers among devotees for former Manila Archbishop Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle to recover fast after testing positive of the coronavirus.
Cardinal Tagle is now based in Italy after Pope Francis appointed him Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples in the Vatican.
