NADINE Lustre was recently proclaimed Philippines Sexiest Woman 2020 for the second time, the first was in 2018.
Her fans admitted they spent sleepless nights just to maintain the lead of their idol and not to be overtaken by Maine Mendoza, who, after all, was not keen to get the title. In fact, she appealed to her fans not to vote for her since she does not deserve to be called sexy at all. She said she would rather be tagged cute than sexy. Still, she came second and third was Christine Samson who was one of the new entries for the Philippines Sexiest.
The new “Pantasya ng Bayan” Ivana Alawi came fourth and fifth was Sachzna Laparan. Barbie Imperial who won the first place last year followed to become the sixth. Lou Yanong came in seventh while Kathryn Bernardo fell to the eight place.
Bela Padilla maintained her number 9 position while Jennylyn Mercado who was the first winner as Philippines Sexiest Woman in 2016 came number 10.
Unbelievably, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray fell off from the top 10, she came number 11, followed by Kim Domingo who won in 2017, Bianca Umali, Pia Wurdzbach, Rhian Ramos, Sanya Lopez, Jessy Mendiola, Maja Salvador, Andrea Torres and Yen Santos.
It was expected that the fans of Maine Mendoza would have a violent reaction since their idol only came second.
They claim that Maine has been consistently leading but since the organizers learned that Maine doesn’t want the title, they just gave it to somebody else. They even post a hashtag #scam.
