MANILA – Some parts of the country will experience rains on Saturday due to a low-pressure area (LPA), the southwest monsoon, and the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was last estimated at 405 km. east of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan while the southwest monsoon is affecting southern Luzon and the Visayas.

There will be cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Davao and Soccsksargen regions, and the provinces of Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur brought by the ITCZ.
