TARLAC CITY, Tarlac – Seven Tarlaqueños have recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19), raising the total number of recoveries to 250.
The new recoveries, confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday, came from the city with three, Mayantoc, also with three, and one from Pura.
This brought the total number of active cases to slid down to 234.
The Tarlac Covid-19 Task Force also reported six new confirmed Covid-19 cases in the province, raising the total to 506.
The new infected cases came from the city with two, Concepcion with two, and one each from Gerona and San Clemente.
Meanwhile, the Tarlac City Anti Covid-19 Inter-Agency Taskforce (IATF) has ordered a 48-hour lockdown of a business process outsourcing firm Sitel located at the Robinson’s Mall Luisita along MacArthur Highway, Barangay San Miguel Hacienda, Luisita Access Road starting on Saturday until Oct. 5.
Mayor Cristy Angeles said the move is to pave the way for the disinfection and contact tracing following reports that some of the firm employees got infected with Covid-19 cases. (PNA)
