Families living near Manila’s coastline safely evacuated

On orders by the city government, families living near the coastline of Manila Bay have been safely evacuated to temporary shelters in anticipation of typhoon Ulysses which is forecast to dump heavy rains that may cause flooding and storm surges.

128 Bldg. 3, Bldg. 18, TCI (Tondo Community Initiatives) at Almario Elementary School.”

Moreno also acknowledged the heroic deeds extended by the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW) Disaster Management Team for the safe and orderly conduct of evacuation of the families.
