Man’s kindness shines through, cooks warm meal for residents of typhoon-hit Tuguegarao

DESPITE his business suffering from the coronavirus pandemic and most recently the wrath of Typhoon Ulysses, a man’s kindness still shone through.

Food business owner Joel Rebueno cooked a warm meal for the residents of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan.

“Business has been difficult because of the pandemic, but that never stopped him!” his son Lord said.

Lord also appealed for donations for the victims of the deadly typhoon.

Clothes can be sent to Norte Restobar, located on Pengue Highway, Barangay Pengue Ruyu, Tuguegarao City.

Lord is also accepting cash through GCash (09175464647), Paymaya (09175464647), and BPI (2386129249).

The death toll due to Typhoon Ulysses reached 32 as of Saturday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.

Meanwhile, 22 people were injured while 20 remain missing.

Of the 32 fatalities, 15 were from Region II, six from Calabarzon, five in Region V, and six in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). —JCB
