Metro Manila still hit by water shortage

Typhoon Ulysses submerged many parts of Luzon including Metro Manila but ironically the super abundance of water then is now the flipside of it as people have to queue up for water rations in many parts of the metropolis.

Photo above shows a thousand tales with a man carrying water jugs as the focal point along with the long line of water containers waiting to be filled up in Road-10 Tondo, Manila.

Water concessionaire Manila Water promised last week to fix broken pipes courtesy of typhoon Ulysses, however, up to now, people still have to queue up for water rations in the neighborhood.
