MANILA — Six more cargo trucks of the Philippine Coast Guard carrying thousands of relief supplies have arrived in Cagayan.

The said donations came from private individuals, PCG officers, enlisted personnel, and non-uniformed personnel.

The PCG, however, clarified that they are no longer accepting clothes as donation, instead, water and food are most preferred and transported to those areas devastated by the typhoons.

Meanwhile, the PCG District in Northwestern Luzon also delivered thousands of food packs and relief goods from the residents of La Union and Pangasinan to the victims of typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan and Isabela.

Also, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade and PCG Commandant, Admiral George Ursabia Jr. arrived at the Port of Claveria in Cagayan to personally administer the relief operations in the municipality. (AI/MTVN)
