2 marijuana plantations destroyed in Benguet

BENGUET – Two clandestine marijuana plantations in Bakun, Benguet were destroyed by operatives of the Cordillera police on Saturday, 21 November 2020.

Personnel from Bakun Municipal Police Station led by Police Lieutenant Gideon Bennaguen raided the two marijuana farm sites in Sitio Lepsik and Sitio Mabilig, both in Kayapa, Bakun town.

The raiders uprooted a total of 1,160 fully-grown Marijuana plants estimated to be worth P232K in street value.

The prohibited plants were uprooted and burned on site after proper documentation was made. (AI/MTVN)
