BOC customer care get ISO certification

MANILA — The BOC Customer Care Center-Port of Manila (CCC-POM) was awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification by TUV SUD Philippines on December 4, 2020.

CCC-POM, headed by District Collector Michael Angelo DC Vargas, has undergone and passed its first stage audit last October 22 and was recommended for ISO Certification after its final audit.

The ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certification is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Part of the Bureau’s 10-Point Priority Program of Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero is to sustain its efforts in providing quality service to stakeholders by aligning all BOC offices with the standards set by ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

BOC Port of Manila will continue to provide efficient Customs services to its stakeholders to gain the trust and confidence of the public.

District Collector Michael Vargas said he is grateful and thankful for its achievement in behalf of all POM employees as this is project initiative of the Commissioner. (AI/FC/MTVN)
