De Leon leads the blessing and turn-over of brand new vehicles including 36 units of 4×2 single cab and one bus for capability enhancement of the provincial police offices of the region held at Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on December 2, 2020.
MANILA — A total of thirty-six (36) brand new Toyota Hi-Lux (4×2 Single Cab) and one (1) bus from the PNP Directorate for Logistics were turned-over to the Police Regional Office 3 to be used for PNP’s Capability Enhancement.
Police Region 3 (PRO3) Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano T. De Leon stated that the arrival of the vehicles is very timely as several proactive anti- criminality campaigns of PRO3 have already started and are now in effect.
“We are also conducting a round the clock duty of anti-criminality checkpoints including mobile patrolling which are strictly being carried out.”
“With this additional mobility, more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the coming days and the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 to respond better to incidents. The delivery of police services will be more effective and efficient from all corners of the region,” he emphasized.
De Leon added that he will be assigning in detail two dedicated drivers for the patrol vehicles.
The blessing and turn-over ceremony of the vehicles was held at the PRO3 Parade Ground of the Camp Captain Julian Olivas at the City San Fernando, Pampanga on December 2, 2020.
Among the recipient Provincial Police Offices (PPOs) were Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales. The lone bus will be used and stationed at the regional office. (AI/MTVN)
