MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies affecting southern Luzon and the Visayas, the weather bureau said on Monday.
The weather condition will be experienced over the Visayas, Bicol Region, Region 4A (Calabarzon), Region 4B (Mimaropa), and Aurora, according to the latest weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon will bring rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region, and isolated light rains over Ilocos Region.
The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms while moderate to strong winds, moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
