MANILA – Most parts of the archipelago will experience rains on Thursday, the weather bureau said.
The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) spotted 820 km. east of Davao City will cause scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Soccsksargen, and the Davao Region.
The northeast monsoon, on the other hand, will cause rains over Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera Administrative Region, and isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao.
The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
