ANGELES CITY — The Angles City Police Office, through the initiative of City Police Chief Rommel S. Batangan, has conducted an early gift-giving treat dubbed as “PAMASKONG HANDOG NG CMFC (Pulis Ko Santa Ko)” at Sitio Target International School, Barangay Sapang Bato, Angeles City.
About 200 children belonging to the city’s indigenous community received gifts in the activity led by Police LtCol. Karen G. Clark of the City Mobile Force Company of Angeles City Police Office.
According to City Police Chief Batangan, the activity aims to bring the police to the community by building a strong bond starting with the younger generation.
“We would like to teach them the value of sharing. By having a positive role model in the person of the policemen, the children will be inspired to be productive citizens of our country.”
“As, parents, we also have a big responsibility to be a good role model for your kids. Good practices at home have proven to maximize the chances of your kids to grow up with good intentions in mind,” he emphasized. (AI/FC/MTVN)
