TARLAC CITY, Tarlac – At least 10 more residents of Tarlac province have recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday.
This brought the total number of recoveries to 1,367 while the active cases slid down to 152.
The Tarlac Covid-19 Task Force said out of the 10 new recoveries, four each came from this city and Capas town and two from Camiling.
The task force added however that four new confirmed cases were reported in the province for a total tally of 1,583.
Two of the newly confirmed patients came from this city and one each from Gerona and Capas.
Also reported was the death of a 39-year-old woman from Barangay Maliwalo here, bringing the total number of Covid-19 mortalities to 64.
Governor Susan Yap asked Tarlaqueños to continue to be vigilant and support the provincial government in its fight against Covid-19.
Yap also thanked the medical front-liners, including doctors, nurses, medical technologists, and other health workers, who helped in the province’s continuing battle against Covid-19. (PNA)
