QUIRINO, Isabela – Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Region 2 Director Loreta M. Malaluan announced today in a Facebook post that the construction of access road leading to Maddela Eco-Park at Maddela, Quirino is nearing its completion.
“The Quirino District Engineering Office has just completed the construction of the 30-lineal meter (2 lanes) bridge connecting Dumabato-Balligui Road to Dumabato Water Falls and Resort that will be part of the access road,”
She added that the remaining scope of works includes provision of slope protection and flood control structures, construction of bridge approaches, and installation of thermoplastic pavement markings and signages.
“This access road to Maddela Eco-Tourism Park will surely boost the local tourism industry and expected to generate employment and increase economic activity in the countryside,” she emphasized. (AI/MTVN)
