MANILA – Sa tulong ng pribadong sektor, ibinida ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire na may sapat na cold storage facilities ang pamahalaan kung saan ilalagay ang COVID -19 vaccines.
Ayon kay Vergeire, ininspeksiyon nina vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. at Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ang ilan sa mga pasilidad na ito noong Miyerkules.
“Kahapon po ay nag-ikot si Secretary Galvez at saka si Secreatry Duque at nakita naman po nila na we have na sapat naman po (na cold storage facility) katulong ang private sector,” wika ni Vergeire.
“We have Zuellig, we have Unilab na tutulong for their storage facilities,” dagdag pa niya.
Maliban pa rito, sinabi ni Vergeire na may cold storage facilities din ang Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) at mga regional office nito.
“Meron din po kasi ang RITM meron din po ang ating mga facilities sa regional offices because we had been doing this vaccination for so long already so enough naman po ang meron,” sabi pa ni Vergeire.
Bago rito, sinabi ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na kailangan ng pamahalaan ang third party logistics providers para sa imbakan ng COVID-19 vaccines simula sa Agosto. (AI/FC/MTVN)
