MANILA – Inihayag ni National Policy Against Covid-19 chief implementer at vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. na inaasahan ng pamahalaan na maisasapinal ang supply agreements sa pagbili ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 bago matapos ang Enero o sa unang linggo ng Pebrero.
“We expect that upon learning the indicative date of the delivery, we will be having the final rundown and rehearsals,” wika ni Galvez.
Ayon kay Galvez, nakikipag-ugnayan na sila sa lokal na pamahalaan upang mapag-isa ang mga pagkilos bilang paghahanda sa gagawing pagbabakuna sa buong bansa,
“We will coordinate with the LGUs so that the rehearsals including the time and motion from the airport to the warehouse to the LGU, it will be rehearsed,” wika ni Galvez.
“I believe the critical terms are already iron out so we are really confident that by the end of January, all the contracts will be finished,” dugtong pa niya.
Tiniyak naman ni Galvez na nasa oras ang pagdating ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 sa mga itinalagang lugar ng pagbabakuna.
Ang shipment ng bakuna sa Visayas at Mindanao ay direkta nang dadalhin sa cold chain storage facilities sa mga istratehikong lugar tulad ng Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, at Davao City. (FC/MTVN)
