BOC Customer Care Center in Port of Subic

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Amid the pandemic, the Bureau of Customs Port of Subic under District Collector Maritess “Meeks” Martin has exceeded its February 2021 collection target by more than P672 million.
Based on its February 2021 collection report, the BOC Port of Subic has an actual revenue collection amounting to P3,165,368,607.92 as compared with its collection target of P2,493,000,000.00.
Martin said this translates to P672,638,607.92 tax collection surplus or equivalent to 26.98% positive deviation.
The BOC Port of Subic also surpassed the target for January 2021 collection amounting to Php 622,007,828.85 or a positive deviation of 20% as against the target of Php2,517,000,000.00.
It can be recalled that BOC Port of Subic was awarded with a plaque of recognition during the Bureau’s 119th Founding Anniversary last Feb 9 for a successful performance in border security, trade facilitation and surplus on revenue collection for the year 2020.
The BOC Port of Subic was significantly commended for its collection performance for 2020 with an actual revenue collection of Php28,677,000,000.00 including surplus of Php3.38Billion with a positive deviation of 13.4%.
It was also given recognition for their unwavering efforts in apprehending all illegal commodities and commitment to duty in protecting the borders.
Martin said their positive collection performance is a collective team effort and remarkable work of all the men and women of the Port of Subic. (AI/MTVN)
