St. Luke’s Medical Center QC in ‘full capacity,’ no more admittance for Covid-19 patients

A sign outside the hospital says it all: Full Capacity for COVID-19 Cases and as such, there is no more admittance for Covid-19 patients at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City since March 16, 2020.

According to medical authorities, the huge increase in COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila is pushing the capacity of several major hospitals in the region into full capacity.

The country logged the biggest single-day tally since September 2020 at 5,404 COVID-19 cases last Monday, 15 March 2021. (Art Son/BENJAMIN CUARESMA/AI/MTVN)
