MANILA — In a buy-bust operation conducted by a team from the Quezon City Police Masambong Station (PS 2), a notorious drug peddler who goes by the name of ‘Boss’ and his female cohort was successfully apprehended with more than P220,000 worth of illegal drugs.
PS 2 commander Lieutenant Colonel Ritchie Claravall identified the suspects as Ernesto Tanio, alias ‘Boss’, 40, of Warayan Street, Sitio San Roque in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, and his cohort Lyn Cerna, 24, of Borromeo St., also in Sitio San Roque.
Tanio and Cerna were arrested by the authorities after a confidential informant reported to Claravall the suspects’ illegal drug activities in the said barangay, prompting the police to stage a buy-bust operation that would catch the duo red-handed while doing their drug peddling ops in their area of jurisdiction.
A joint buy-bust operation was then set in motion against the suspects at about 11:30 in the evening of March 18 at No. 122 Agham Road, Sitio San Roque.
An undercover cop posed as a poseur buyer, who was able to buy P500.00 worth of shabu from the suspects.
Aside from the buy-bust money, confiscated from Tanio and Cerna was 25 grams of shabu valued at Php170,000 with the buy-bust money and a cellular phone.
Meanwhile, in another buy-bust operation, also conducted by operatives of PS 2 but this time with the assistance of Project 6 Station (PS 15), two other drug peddlers were caught right in their own residence after they sold P54,000 worth of shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
PS 15 commander Lt. Col. Hendrix Mangaldan identified the arrested suspects as Ronald Querubin, 46, and John Famoso, 44 y/o, both residents of No. 44 Sanaka Extension, Sitio San Isidro, also Bgy. Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City. (AI/MTVN)

Santo Domingo by police personnel from the OCPD Mobile Force Battalion detailed under the city government’s Task Force Disiplina.
Finally, Davocol and Alcaraz were collared in from a house No. 6 on Batangas St., Bgy. Alicia after a concerned citizen tipped off the police about the duo’s illegal drug activities in his neighborhood.
