PNP, PDEA dismantle drug den in Pampanga

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Mabalacat City Police Station dismantled a drug den and arrested five (5) individuals during an anti-illegal drug operation in Mabalacat City last Saturday, 13 March 2021.
The operation conducted by authorities at Riverside 5th St., PH-1 MRC, Brgy. Dapdap, Mabalacat City, Pampanga resulted in the arrest of Marissa Manaois, 44 years old; Ronald Padilla, 23 years old; Robin Manaois, 21 years old; Jo Anthony Gueco, 36 years old; and Roxane Manaois, 18 years old.

All were residents of Barangay Dapdap, Pampanga.

Confiscated from them were nine (9) sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 15 grams with a street value of P102,000, several paraphernalia and one (1) genuine five-hundred-peso bill marked money.

Cases for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 15 of Art II, RA 9165 of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Act were filed against the suspects.

Police Regional Director Valeriano T. De Leon stated today that the continuing arrest of drug personalities in the various areas of the region shows that the police force is serious in its commitment to eliminate the proliferation of illegal drugs and traders.

“I encouraged law-abiding citizens in the community to report and coordinate with your nearest police station if you suspect illegal activities in your areas. Your cooperation and support will provide less opportunity for criminals to propagate illegal drugs in your area,” he emphasized. (AI/MTVN)
