CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Region III Director Valeriano T. De Leon today reported five more drug peddlers who were arrested in the region in separate operations held in various provinces of the region.
“Members of the PNP were able to seize P31K worth of illegal drugs including two (2) homemade firearms from the five separate operations suspects during today’s operation.”
“Nueva Ecija Acting Provincial Police Director Jaime Santos reported the capture of two drug peddlers during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by Cabanatuan CPS-DEU along Halcon St., Brgy. Mabini Homesite, Cabanatuan City which led to the arrest of John Christopher Atendido, 29 years old, male, married, jobless; and Vhon Joeffrey De Guzman, 19 years old, male, single, jobless. Both are residents of Brgy. Mabini Homesite, Cabanatuan City.”
Operatives were able to seize thirteen (13) pieces of resealable transparent plastic sachets containing suspected marijuana with approximate weight of 18 grams and has a DDB value of Php 14,000 and one (1) caliber 38 homemade gun without serial number with four (4) live ammunition.
“In Pampanga, Provincial Director Arnold Thomas Ibay reported the arrest of Roberto Arcibal, a resident of Blk 15 Lot 26 Northville 12, San Vicente, Sto. Tomas during their Anti-Illegal Drug operation. Four (4) pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 0.344 grams with an estimated street value of Php 2,339.00 and one (1) unit of Homemade Caliber 38 revolver without serial number with Three (3) pieces of live ammunition inserted were seized from the suspect.”
“While in Zambales, Acting Provincial Director Romano Cardino arrested Mario Tabaro, 28 years old and a resident of Casabaan, Cabangan, Zambales during their anti-illegal operation and seized three (3) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets weighing three (3) grams with an estimated value of Php 15,000.00,” De Leon disclosed.
The total evidence seized were seven (7) sachets of heat-sealed transparent plastic containing suspected shabu weighing 3.344 grams with a DDB value of Php 17,339.00, thirteen (13) pieces of re-sealable transparent plastic sachets containing suspected marijuana with an approximated weight of 18 grams and has a DDB value of Php 14,000.00, and two (2) caliber 38 homemade without serial number with (7) live ammunition.
“This is a stern warning to persons who continue their illegal activities. We will not stop and we will continue conducting proactive operations against all forms of illegal drugs until we achieve our goal of a drug-free Central Luzon,” De Leon emphasized. (AI/MTVN)
