MANILA – Some parts of the country will continue to experience rains due to the northeast monsoon over extreme northern Luzon and the easterlies affecting the rest of the country.
In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday said scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Sorsogon, Surigao, Dinagat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
Light rains will continue over the Batanes and Babuyan islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over extreme northern Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
