MANILA – The easterlies, or the trade winds blowing east to west over the Earth’s equatorial region, are seen to affect the country on Saturday.
In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers to the entire country.
Winds in extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong and headed east to southeast with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds headed east to northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 23°C to 33°C; Baguio City, 16°C to 25°C; Lipa City, 25°C to 33°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 31°C; Metro Davao, 25°C to 34°C; and Zamboanga City, 23°C to 34°C. (PNA)
