MANILA – The city government of Manila will begin vaccinating individuals under the A3 (persons with comorbidities) prioritization list on Wednesday.
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, in his live updates over Facebook on Monday night, said the city government has received the new batch of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines from the national government.
“Meron tayong tangan tangan ngayon na Sinovac. Malamang maubos yun bukas. Bababa tayo ng A3. Sa Miyerkules, mag-uumpisa na tayo sa A3 (We have Sinovac right now. Most probably we will finish that by tomorrow, and then we will go down to A3. On Wednesday, we will start with the A3),” he said.
Individuals under the A3 priority list are aged 18 to 59 years old who have comorbidities or pre-existing health conditions.
Among those qualified under the A3 group are persons with or have experienced:
• Chronic respiratory disease
• Cardiovascular disease
• Chronic kidney disease
• Cerebrovascular accident
• Neurologic disease
• Chronic liver disease
• Chronic respiratory tract infection
• Immunodeficiency state
They must medical certificates, prescriptions, and hospital records.
Domagoso said the remaining A1 (healthcare workers) beneficiaries will still be accommodated.
Those who have received their first doses on March 2 also received their second and last dose on Tuesday. (PNA)
