MANILA — Quirino province and Santiago City in Isabela will be under modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in April 2021.
This was announced by President Duterte in his public address on Monday night saying Quirino province will be under MECQ from April 1 to April 15, 2021, while Santiago City will be under MECQ from April 1 to April 30.
Meanwhile, in Luzon, the entire Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya and Batangas will be placed under General Community Quarantine until April 30.
Also under GCQ for the whole month of April are Tacloban City, Iligan City, Davao City, and Lanao del Sur.
The rest of the regions or provinces in the country not mentioned will be under the most lenient quarantine classification or Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).
The Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) classification imposed on the National Capital Region and nearby provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal was not extended by the Chief Executive.
