MANILA — Cases of the coronavirus have slowed down a bit on Wednesday, 31 March 2021, with the Department of Health reporting single-day infections below 10,000.
The DoH registered 6,128 new infections, a good improvement compared to the record 10,016 single-day cases of COVID-19 two days ago.
Nevertheless, the 6,128 cases pushed the Phillippines’ cumulative tally to 747,288.
Here’s a quick look at PH’s Covid-19 situation:
Active cases: 130,245 or 17.4% of the total
Recoveries: 491, pushing total to 603,746
Deaths: 106, bringing total to 13,297
