MANILA — The Department of Health logged a total of 11,378 positive cases of the coronavirus on Monday (12 April 2021).
Recoveries were monitored to be at 267 while deaths reached 204.
Of the day’s Covid-19 cases (11,378) for the whole country, 18.0% of which are active cases at 157,451 while 80.3% recovered (703,625) and 1.73% of those who succumbed to the killer disease.
In total, the country has now 15,149 fatalities in total since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease in March last year.

Worldwide cases of the coronavirus already reached 135,869,704 including 2,935,271 fatalities.
The United States stays as the most impacted country in the world with 31,219,696 and 561,527 deaths.
Brazil is far second with 13,482,023 cases and 353,137 deaths followed by India at 13,358,805 and 169,275.
Rounding out the Top 10 are France (5,021,865), Russia (4,589,209), United Kingdom (4,369,775), Turkey (3,849,011), Italy (3,769,814), Spain (3,347,512), and Germany (3,012,158).
