MANILA – Sunshine Cruz is happy to report to her fans that she slowly recovering from the symptoms associated with COVID-19, after she left them worried following her revelation on her socmed page that she has been experiencing signs of the disease.
Although she did not directly say that she has been infected by the corona virus, Sunshine wrote on Instagram on Saturday that she still feels blessed that she is just isolated in the comfort of her home unlike those who are confined in hospitals or isolation facilities.
“I may not see the kids but hearing and chatting over the phone with them makes me look forward to seeing and hugging these princesses of mine once again,” she said.
Sunshine is optimistic about her condition and she declared that she is now on her way to recovery.
“Headache, body pain is now more tolerable, cough is not as worse, my sense of taste and smell have improved,” she said.
“I thank God everyday for I am slowly getting better,” she added.
In a previous post, Cruz said she misses hugging and talking to her daughters.
“It is scary and I always worry for my family, loved ones and friends. But then saan ba ako dadalhin ng pag-aalala at sobrang pag-iisip? Dasal talaga ang sinasandalan ko, ‘yung suporta at pagbibigay ng lakas ng loob ng mga taong nagmamahal sa ‘min ng mga bata. You guys know who you are. Thank you,” she said.
Over the weekend, Sunshine’s “Bagong Umaga” co-star Heaven Peralejo also revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
In a vlog she posted on Saturday, Heaven said she learned that she was COVID-19 positive while she was at a locked-in taping for the ABS-CBN series.
Angeline Quinto now totally free from COVID-19
Meanwhile, Angeline Quinto shared her happiness as she has fully recovered from the coronavirus.
In her newest vlog, Angeline showed the negative result of her latest RT-PCR test.
The singer had a swab test on April 8 and the result came out the following day.
“Negative, guys. Thank you, Lord. Puwede na akong lumabas (ng kwarto),” Angeline said who was surprised with so many gifts and food sent by friends.
“Para po sa mga nagtatanong, maayos na maayos na po ako. At dahil rin po ‘yan sa mga tulong niyo, sa mga nagdasal para sa akin. So, sana kayo ay mag-ingat lagi. Ingatan niyo ang sarili niyo guys. Maraming-maraming salamat. God bless you and see you soon,” Angeline added.
Before the singer-actress went through her last swab test, she was already tested negative from COVID on April 5 when somebody sent her a saliva-based RT-PCR kit.
On her 13th day quarantine period, she earlier thanked the people who showed her love and support. On the same vlog, she showed her last seven days quarantine period.
To recall, Angeline tested positive of the disease on March 26 and revealed it to the public through her vlog on April 1.(ECD/MTVN)
