MANILA – The country will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said on Thursday.
This is caused by localized thunderstorms, and the trough of Tropical Storm (TS) Surigae affecting Mindanao.
TS Surigae was last tracked 1,140 kilometers east of Mindanao, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It packs maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 105 kph.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the storm is slowly moving westward and may enter PAR by Friday.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail over the whole archipelago, PAGASA said. (PNA)
