MANILA— Now that Sunshine Dizon has joined other former Kapuso stars who have transferred to ABS CBN, Lovi Poe could not escape the question asked of her if she, too, will transfer to the Kapamilya network.
The actress just smiled when asked for her reaction about the rumor that she, too, would do over da bakod.
Lovi is known to be a Kapuso star and currently, she has an ongoing GMA-7 prime-time series “Owe My Love.”
The actress without hesitation replied to the question,
“Well, I guess, I think it’s only fair to keep things private at this stage. And all negotiations are confidential at this very moment.”
According to Gorgy Rula of PEP, he asked Lovi’s manager Leo Dominguez whether Lovi’s transfer to ABS CBN would push through or would she renew her contract with GMA network.
Leo simply answered, “Good morning. Meron pa siyang program contract ng “Owe My Love” until end of May.”
So it is clear that Lovi has still a commitment with GMA-7 until May, and maybe after this, we will know what will the actress’ next plans.
Lovi renewed her exclusive contract with GMA network in July 2016 and it was reported that the contract has ended in July 2020.
But there were rumors on this month of April that the actress is planning to transfer.
Lovi was also included in the list of netizens who would fit the role of the mistress on ABS DBN adapation of “Doctor Foster.”
However, on April 26, it was heard that there is a possibility that her plan to transfer would be held in abeyance due to a counter-offer of GMA for the renewal of her contract.
Somehow, Lovi promoted her ongoing series when she had a talk with entertainment reporters recently.
“Owe My Love” is airing and that’s something na sana patuloy niyo suportahan at subaybayan.
“Also, my movie, that’s coming out soon. I’ll be wearing a very important Imono piece, which I asked for our movie,” Love simply said.
Lovi is now in the US to record her song there and at the same time to visit her boyfriend Monty Blencowe.(ECD/MTVN)
