MANILA — Operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation – Naga District Office (NBI-NADO) arrested an individual after illegal drugs were found on her premises in Barangay San Felipe, Naga City.

NBI Officer-In-Charge (OIC) Director Eric B. Distor identified the Subject as ANJIENETH C. ARBUIS a.k.a. ANJ/WAWA.

Distor said that on April 28, 2021, operatives of NBI-NADO implemented a Search Warrant issued by the Executive Judge for Regional Trial Court of Naga City that there is probable cause to believe that subject is in possession of an undetermined quantity of shabu or Methamphetamine Hydrochloride per Dangerous Drugs in violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Also searched was the premises of her brother, LUIS C. ARBUIS a.k.a. LUISE/TUNGKAG, of Barangay Penafrancia, Naga City. Recovered in the premises of both subjects were several transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.

Subject ANJIENETH C. ARBUIS was placed under arrest and was presented for inquest proceedings before the Prosecutor’s Office of Naga City the following day.

Subject LUISE C. ARBUIS, on the other hand, was not around during the implementation of Search Warrant. OIC Distor, however, stressed that appropriate charges will also be filed against Subject LUISE ARBUIS for violation of RA 9165.
