MANILA – The whole country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said Friday.
This is due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao and the easterlies affecting Luzon and the Visayas.
Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) added.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail over the entire archipelago.
Meanwhile, weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said PAGASA is monitoring a low pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
“The LPA is too far from the country, (and was last tracked) 2,110 km. east of Mindanao,” Aurelio said.
It may enter PAR as an LPA either Sunday or Monday, he said. (PNA)
