MANILA — The Philippine’s vaccination program got a much-needed boost in the arm with the arrival of an additional one million doses of Sinovac on Sunday, June 6.
Men in charge in vaccine czar and National Task Force against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. and Health Secretary Fransisco Duque 3rd were on hand to welcome the shipment as it arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Aside from the newest shipment from China, Galvez announced earlier that PH expects 10 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines to be shipped this month, including 4.5 million doses of Sinovac, 2.2 million doses of Pfizer, 2 million doses of AstraZeneca, one million doses of Sputnik V and 250,000 doses of Moderna.
