MANILA — The Department of Health has on Sunday, 06 June 2021, recorded 7,228 additional cases of Covid-19 even as it also logged 7,372 recoveries and 166 fatalities.
The health agency added that of the total number of recorded cases in the country, 4.7 % (59,337) were active cases, 93.6 % (1,188,243) recovered, and 1.72 % (21,898) died.
In all, cumulative cases of the virus in the country are now pegged at 1,269,478 while recoveries also increased to 1,188,242 and the death toll, 21,898.
Meanwhile, the active cases undergoing hospital care or are recovering are tallied at 59,337.
According to the latest report, all laboratories were operational on June 4, 2021, while there are 3 laboratories that were not able to submit data on COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
Based on data over the last 14 days, these 3 labs contributed approximately 0.68 % of all samples tested and 1.27 % of all positive individuals.
