MANILA – Fair weather will continue to prevail across the country Tuesday, a weather forecaster said.
The southwest monsoon affecting Luzon will cause scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Ilocos region.
“Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have fair weather with isolated rain showers caused by isolated thunderstorms,” said Meno Mendoza, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The Visayas will have fair weather, with isolated rain showers that may be experienced for a short period, he added.
Mindanao will also experience fair weather with isolated thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Mendoza said PAGASA does not see weather disturbances that may affect the country in the next two to three days.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over the northern and western sections of Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
